I am an elementary school music teacher with a Bachelor's in Music Education from Georgia State University. This will be my third year in Fulton County, fourth year teaching overall. Before coming to River Eves, I was itinerant at Dolvin, Ison Springs, and Woodland Elementaries. I recently completed my Level II Orff Certification and am really excited to try new things this year.
People often ask how I ended up teaching music. I fell in love with music at an early age - my father played the French horn and encouraged us to explore different music opportunities. I was almost a ballerina, but in the 5th grade I pulled a tendon in my foot and was out of commission for a bit. That summer I started taking piano lessons, eventually fell in love with playing the French horn, and the rest is history!
